Dutch entrepreneurial duo Sander de Klerk and Melle Schellekens of The Good Roll create 100% tree-friendly toilet rolls made from bamboo or recycled paper, from which they invest half of the net profits in building toilets in Ghana. Since its inception, The Good Roll has saved more than 34,000 trees and built 233 toilets.


Geoffrey Gasq, Vice-President Western Europe Business Development at Mastercard, gives us a look at the European retail economy, supported by insights from the Mastercard Economics Institute. He reaches out with strategies to get closer to your customers with personalized brand experiences and tells you more about the evolution of the shopping experience through digital and physical channels.

Tibbe Verschaffel, Co-founder & Captain at Planet B believes in the power of small steps for an astronomical impact, with three eco-friendly brands: Wondr (natural grooming), Klaaar (the future of washing) and Bambooze (reusable bamboo straws). Their motto: «We can’t be healthy on an unzoneable planet.»

Jente De Ridder, Managing Partner of Stitchd, tells you how to be smart about a cookieless future as a company. A gamechanger that is still unexplored territory for a lot of retailers and thus can provide a lot of new insights.

Laurens D’Hoore, founder of Thrive, takes you through the success story of the world’s first recovery beer. Today, Thrive alcohol-free sports beer is already on the shelves at major retailers, soon to be followed abroad.

In physical stores, talking to customers is commonplace. Thanks to technological developments such as messaging apps, chatbots & artificial intelligence, the customer is coming back into focus digitally as well.
